The IBC layout will be uploaded during the last quarter of 2019 once the container design has been finalised with all stakeholders.
VENUE COMPOUND @ IBC
A wide area is available to host the TV technical vehicles for HB and RHBs:
The TV compound with a surface of 2500 m2 will be located on the left side of the Biathlon stadium for the sixth edition of the IBU World Championships Biathlon 2020 in Antholz. The TV compound will be on the upper floor of a newly built parking deck together with the IBC.
VENUE COMPOUND SPECIFICATIONS
The chosen TV compound concept has taken into consideration the biggest OB vans and tender/support vehicles currently on the market.
The maximum admissable weight of the vehicles for the TV compound is as follows:
- Outside Broadcast Vans up to 40 tons
- Tender vehicles up to 30 tons
- DSNG up to 10 tons
Power Distribution
A Dual Power distribution is foreseen at the TV compound, for both domestic and technical power which will be made available through power generators. Any additional service will be provided according to the Catalogue of Services and subject to availability.
Compound space for technical vehicles must be booked via the regular booking process according to the Catalogue of Services (COS).
