Broadcast services provider exhibits at key event for sports innovators

Eurovision Services is delighted to be a bronze partner of THE SPOT 2022, where we will be on hand to present our latest innovative solutions at a dedicated booth at the Market Place. Eurovision Services customers include many of the world’s highest-value sports properties and they count on the company’s 60 years of experience to ensure the best possible quality and reliability in getting their content from venue to broadcast partner.

Our Head of Global Sales and Marketing, Fabien Robineau, explains Eurovision Services stake in sport and innovation: “We are constantly innovating to ensure that our services remain ahead of market demands. Recent examples include the introduction of Audio over IP for live commentary to replace deprecated ISDN lines; SRT services to ensure secure and reliable delivery over public internet; and BISS-CA encryption for live satellite transmissions. Our evolving Content Hub service is revolutionising the way content is booked and delivered, giving both content owners and broadcasters greater control and flexibility over the distribution and consumption of live sports content.”

In anticipation of THE SPOT and Eurovision Services role as the event’s bronze partner, Fabien says: “Being at the intersection between sport and innovation, the SPOT 2022 is the perfect place for us to be. It gives us the opportunity to meet with the community in person, take the pulse of the industry and see the latest innovations. After a difficult couple of years, just being able to interact with people face-to-face takes on a special value in itself.”

Participants will be able to exchange with Eurovision Services at our booth in the Market Place. “So much of what we do is based on personal contact and relationships, so the main reason to stop by is just to say hello, whether people know us well or want to find out more about what we do. We know from experience that there is no one-size-fits-all solution in our business, so talking to people about their requirements and sharing our expertise and advice is hugely important for us.”
