European Film Awards 2022


This years European Film Awards will be held in Reykjavik, Iceland in the Harpa conference hall. The ceremony begins with film screenings followed by Q&A's, with a film gala for the public, awards ceremony and afterparty. WEF Davos 2023


The World Economic Forum will hold its annual meeting in the Swiss Alps ski resort of Davos-Klosters from 16 to 20 January 2023. The WEF's Annual Meeting brings together "leaders from government, business, and civil society to address the state of the world and discuss priorities for the year ahead." The annual meeting took place in the spring last year, and this is the first time since the pandemic that the gathering returns to its regular winter set-up.

Eurovision Song Contest 2023


The 67th Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Liverpool, with the Grand Final taking place Saturday 13 May at Liverpool's M&S Bank Arena. The UK is hosting on behalf of Ukraine, who won last year by Kalush Orchestra, with its song Stefania. It will be the first time in 25 years the UK has hosted the competition.

NATO Summit Vilnius


The next NATO summit will be held for the first time in Lithuania on 11-12 July 2023.  The Vilnius summit will focus on strengthening the Alliance’s collective defence and deterrence and on increasing support for Ukraine. It is expected that Finland and Sweden will participate in the summit as full-fledged NATO members for the first time in Vilnius.
