ACCREDITATION INFORMATION:
Eurovision News Events will facilitate accreditation for the secured media areas at the Coronation for members and clients who have a confirmed booking.
Accreditation is required to access the Canada Gate compound, including our live stand-up positions with a view of Buckingham Palace and workspaces; and for the QEII media compound, including our live positions overlooking Westminster Abbey (along with additional accreditation, see below.)
If you would like to apply for accreditation through Eurovision News Events, please respond to this email with the full name, email address, role/position and mobile number of each person who requires a credential to access the live position, AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. The email address must be unique to each person, as a group email address will not be accepted by the system.
Space is extremely limited at Canada Gate and on the broadcast platform at QEII, please apply only for essential personnel only.
Once our Eurovision News Events list has been compiled, we will submit all the names to the relevant authority, and you will receive notification from us that your name has been submitted.
Each individual will then be sent an invitation with a link to the Coronation online accreditation portal by the relevant authority.
The link to the portal must not be shared and is designed to be completed by the individual who will receive the credential. As part of the procedure, a Health and Safety questionnaire will need to be completed and a passport-style photo uploaded. Guidelines of how to complete the online application will be given once you are on the website.
Again, the broadcast platforms at this event are designed for limited broadcast facilities and staff, and so it is vital that you only apply for essential personnel. Access to our EBU live positions could be prevented if your presence there is not deemed essential.
For those with bookings at the QEII site, there will be an additional layer of security required to access the media area, so these members and customers will be contacted separately nearer the date of the event for further information on access.
If approved, passes must be collected in person by each individual and proof of identification will be required for pick-up at a location TBD closer to the event date.
