G7 Leaders' Summit

The G7 Summit is taking place in Kananaskis, Canada from June 15-17. Newly elected Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney will host G7 leaders including United States President Donald Trump at the Kananaskis Mountain Lodge in the Canadian Rockies.

The main International Media Center IMC will be in Banff. Eurovision News Events is offering workspaces in the IMC and will have dedicated live positions outside of the media center.

Media Accreditation now open for the G7 Leaders’ Summit

As the 2025 G7 President, Canada will host the G7 Leaders’ Summit in Kananaskis, Alberta from June 15-17, 2025.

Media representatives who wish to cover the Summit must obtain media accreditation.

The media accreditation process is open to journalists (print, radio, television, news agencies and online media) who are on assignment with a bona fide media organization.

Individuals performing journalistic functions who do not work for a media organization and are unable to provide a letter of assignment will have to provide proof of recent publications under the applicant’s by-line that can be readily found in the public realm

and under a bona fide media organization. Government officials, representatives, or observers will not be accredited as media.

Only applications that include all requested information will be considered.

The application period will close on June 1, 2025. Once the application process is closed, there will be no further opportunity to apply for accreditation. Please note that accreditation does not guarantee access to all events during the Summit.
