Eurovision Services will be providing the connectivity for the global broadcast distribution plus on-site SNGs and live streaming

The new season of Nitro Rallycross, also known as Nitro RX, sees the series visit a host of brand-new tracks and classic rallycross venues across the globe with stops in the USA, Canada, Sweden, Finland and The Middle East. All of which will be given the Nitro touch of “Cars that Fly” and “Tracks that Thrill”.
Aurora Media Worldwide will be using a combination of track and RF cameras, live on-board cameras, drones, FX cameras and video-game-inspired shots to take audiences in close to the action, adding a suite of innovative, data-driven graphics to further enhance the experience.
Eurovision Services will provide the connectivity for the global distribution of the feed produced by Aurora Media Worldwide. This includes an SNG (satellite news gathering) truck on site at each of the 10 events for contribution to the Eurovision Services Network Operating Centre in Geneva, from where the signal will be distributed over the world-class Eurovision Services Global Hybrid Network to broadcasters worldwide. Eurovision Services’ dedicated Digital Media Services team will also handle the live streaming to the Nitro RX Facebook, YouTube and Twitter accounts.
Fabien Robineau, Head of Global Sales and Marketing at Eurovision Services, said: “I’m delighted that our partnership with Aurora Media Worldwide is growing with the addition of the exciting new Nitro RX global series. It is further proof that Aurora Media Worldwide and Eurovision Services are a winning team when it comes to producing and distributing innovative new sports events.”
David O’Carroll, Operations Director at Aurora Media Worldwide, said: “Nitro RX breathes new life into rallycross with a combination of classic venues and new tracks. We are relishing the challenge of immersing the viewer in what is sure to be a thrilling experience, starting with the iconic Lydden Hill Race Circuit in the UK this weekend and then moving on to Scandinavia, North America and the Middle East over the coming months. As we are already working with Eurovision Services on the second season of the SuperLeague Triathlon, we know that broadcasters will benefit from the company’s impeccable delivery and customer service.”
