Director of Eurovision Media Services Graham Warren is to retire from the EBU next year.

Warren joined the EBU in 2011 as Network Director and became COO of Eurovision Media Services (EMS) last March.

He has worked in the media and broadcast area for nearly 40 years, specialising in the development, deployment and operation of satellite and terrestrial networks.

Warren said: “I have seen a huge amount of change in the broadcast network business over the course of my career but never more so than in the last few years. 

“I believe EMS is now in a strong position to capitalise on these changes and ensure we continue to provide innovative new services and solutions for Members and customers alike.”

EBU Director General Noel Curran said: “We are grateful for all that Graham has done to ensure our business services are fit for the future.

“He has been a huge support to the team as we have restructured the business and we wish him all the best for the future.”

The EBU has launched the search for his successor and Warren will remain at EMS until March 2018 to ensure a smooth transition.
