The Right Livelihood Award ceremony will take place on 30 November 2022. It is an international award to "honor those offering practical and exemplary answers to the most urgent challenges facing us today". The awardees are recognized for their actions in solving global problems.

Overview

The Right Livelihood Award, also known as the “Alternative Nobel Prize”, aims ‘to boost urgent and long-term social change by recognizing the actions of brave visionaries working for a more just, peaceful and sustainable world for all.’

The Award ceremony will take place in Stockholm on 30 November 2022 and will be available after the event on our Eurovision Newsdirect digital platform along with the 30-minute interviews of the laureates.
