Creating biochar from woody biomass – even from grass – can help improve soil, generate energy, and help store carbon emissions for years.
The Go-Grass project brings together 23 partners – research centers, SMEs and industry representatives – from eight countries. Since 2019 they have been developing small-scale bio-based solutions to unlock the overlooked potential of grassland across Europe and create new business opportunities for rural areas.
