His Holiness Pope Francis, who will turn 88 in December, is set to visit Luxembourg on 26 September 2024. He will be greeted at Findel Airport by TTRRHH the Grand Duke and the Grand Duchess, along with Prime Minister Luc Frieden, before proceeding to an official meeting.
During his visit, Pope Francis will meet with national authorities and civil society at the Cercle Cité, where he will deliver a speech. He will also engage with the Catholic community at Cathedral of Notre-Dame de Luxembourg. A tour of the city center in the Papamobile is scheduled from 10:45 to 11:15 GMT
