2024 Pope Consistory - 21 new cardinals appointed

ROME, ITALY

Pope Francis declared that on 7 December 2024, a Consistory for the appointment of new Cardinals would be held in the Vatican.

Prior to the 2025 Jubilee of Hope opening and following the end of the Second Session of the Synod on Synodality in the Vatican, the Consistory will be held with representatives from around the globe.
