Pope Francis will give the Urbi et Orbi blessing, (a tradition going back over 700 years) which will take place from 11:00GMT from St Peters Square on Christmas day, with thousands of faithful expected to attend. The Papal address will take place at the Central Loggia of the Vatican Basilica.
