Switzerland is hosting a Summit on Peace in Ukraine at the Bürgenstock and its eponymous resort in the Canton of Nidwalden, at the invitation of Swiss President Viola Amherd. The goal of the summit is to "progress on a shared vision for a fair and long-lasting peace in Ukraine." Over 150 leaders have been invited to attend, with, to date, more than 80 having confirmed at Head of State or Government level.

Overview
"Following up on Ukraine’s request, Switzerland has invited over 160 delegations from around the world to join for the first Summit on Peace in Ukraine on 15-16 June 2024 at the Bürgenstock resort.
The summit will build on the discussions that have taken place in recent months, notably the Ukrainian peace formula and other peace proposals based on the UN Charter and key principles of international law. [...] The participation of a wide range of states and their contributions to the discussion will be crucial to reach these goals. Switzerland has a long tradition of promoting dialogue. Thus, it considers the exchange of different views on the way to peace in Ukraine of vital importance."
Eurovision News Events is supporting the organizers in the management of the international media requests and global distribution of selected events of the HOST coverage. We will also be offering live stand-up positions bookable on an ad-hoc basis.

A limited number of stand-up positions for TV live inserts and interviews are available with power and dedicated internet at the Residence terrace right across the media centre. Eurovision News Events will be offering fully equipped live stand-up positions bookable on an ad hoc basis. There will also be non-equipped space to do short live inserts or as-lives. The positions are available only for accredited media.
The primary host coverage, produced by SRF, will be distributed on site via multboxes in the Media Center. Please be sure to bring your own BNC cable. Select events of the Summit will also be distributed live via satellite worldwide, with the support of Eurovision News Events.
