HM5 transfer to SES-14

EMS will move this multiplex platform from IS-34 (55.5 W) to SES-14 by 31 December 2018.

SES-14, launched on 26 January 2018 by Arianespace, has replaced SES's satellite NSS-806 from September 2018 at 47.5 degrees west.

Eurovision Media Services (EMS) is now using this new satellite to distribute sports events and news content over the Americas. The Hypermux 5 (HM5) is a full time multiplex platform allowing distribution of Sport events and News contents to American Broadcasters, currently on IS-34 transponder AE01C.

EMS will move this multiplex platform from IS-34 (55.5 W) to SES-14 by 31 December 2018.
