Eurovision Services will be providing a range of broadcast services to the world's fastest triathlon series

Through its partnership with Aurora Media Worldwide, Eurovision Services will be providing a range of broadcast services for the Super League Triathlon’s 2021 Championship Series, the world’s fastest triathlon series.

Eurovision Services will provide its proven broadcast solutions for the four events on the 2021 Championship Series calendar, which will take place in London, England (5th September), Munich, Germany (12th September), Jersey, Channel Islands (18th September) and Malibu, California (25th September). The Geneva-based company, a subsidiary of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU)*, will provide satellite news gathering trucks on site, European and US satellite capacity, global satellite distribution of the events, streaming services to the Super League Triathlon YouTube channel and six additional streams, as well as file delivery of a highlights package. An overall introductory programme and individual previews ahead of each event will also be made available free of charge and free of rights to broadcasters via the Eurovision Services WorldFeed/WorldLink service, which combines satellite distribution with a 30-day video-on-demand service. Broadcasters who have an account on the Eurovision Services booking platform can access the relevant information directly.

Eurovision Services is providing these services under an existing partnership with Aurora Media Worldwide, the Super League Triathlon’s production partner. Having successfully delivered events together earlier this year, both parties are looking to deepen their collaboration further in 2022 for the Super League Triathlon, as well as adding other equally innovative sports competitions.

Michele Gosetti, Head of Global Sales and Marketing at Eurovision Services, said: “I’m delighted to see our partnership with Aurora Media Worldwide bearing fruit and creating synergies that help us both build our brands. Super League Triathlon will benefit from extra promotion through our WorldFeed/WorldLink service and Eurovision Services will, for the first time, have an on-screen presence during the events. This is a great example of how rights owners and broadcast service providers can work – and grow – together.”

David O’Carroll, Operations Director at Aurora Media Worldwide, said: “The Super League Triathlon is a great example of the innovative new sports competitions that we are working with and it’s great to be able to count on the proven experience and global network of Eurovision Services to deliver such exciting new content to broadcasters worldwide.”

Michael D'hulst, Super League Triathlon CEO, said: "This is a huge year not only for Super League but for triathlon with our Championship Series set to elevate the sport with four incredible races in amazing destinations featuring the best athletes in the world on back-to-back weekends throughout September. Super League stands for innovation, so we are delighted to be partnering with like-minded businesses in Eurovision Services and Aurora Media Worldwide to help grow our sport and deliver thrilling racing and content to fans around the world."
