Following its recent announcement to transfer its business services to a new subsidiary, the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) has nominated a new Board of Directors for Eurovision Services S.A.
On 8th November 2018, the EBU Executive Board approved a Board of Directors for its new subsidiary, Eurovision Services S.A. The new Board will be effective as of 01 February 2019 after the EBU officially transfers its business services to the new subsidiary.
The Chair of the new Board will be EBU Director General, Noel Curran. We want to build on the success of the past and pursue the new opportunities that technological change allows us. These highly accomplished individuals bring a variety of experiences but each has a strong record of successfully navigating today’s complex media environment." Says Noel Curran.
The new Board will provide leadership for carrying out Eurovision Services' mission to bring expertise, experience and resources to create, produce and seamlessly distribute the best content and services to media organizations and sports federations around the world.
"As we advance our business strategy to help clients maximise the value of their content, I am confident that the combined experience, enthusiasm and determination of our new Board of Directors will serve Eurovision Services well," says Marco Tinnirello, CEO of Eurovision Services.
