EBU is looking after the Media platforms at Piazza Pio XII and Piazza Pia, and allocating the spaces there on a first come, first served basis.

FEED DISTRIBUTION
Eurovision News Events, on behalf of Vatican media, will distribute the feed of VACTV from the start of the conclave (7 May) until the end of the conclave and new pope appears on the balcony overlooking St Peter’s Square after his election.
We’ll distribute the signal via SRT or LiveU with technical fees of EUR 950 per day.

ACCREDITATION
It is compulsory that you apply for a Temporary Accreditation with the Vatican here. Click on "Accreditation System - Holy See Press Office". Once you've logged in, on the calendar, click on the green line that reads "Funeral Papa Francesco e Conclave". A pop-up will appear and you can select all the boxes and click submit.

Distribution of Accreditation cards
The accreditation cards will be distributed at the Accreditation Office, with access from Via della Conciliazione, 54, from Monday to Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
In addition, a platform pass is required to access both EBU platforms on Piazza Pia and Piazza Pio platforms. Please contact us to apply. The platform pass will be active ONLY for those broadcasters who have a dedicated position on the platform or if they have a booking with Eurovision News Events.
Your QR code will be active only for the day of your booking. There is no space available for roaming teams.
Attendees should wear dark, respectful clothing and maintain a respectful demeanor at the stand-up positions.

Equipped and staffed standups from Piazza Pia, on the other end of Via della Conciliazione from Piazza Pio XII, offering a wider shot of the Vatican.
We are also offering an unmanned single position at Piazza Pia, Castel Sant Angelo. The position is equipped with 10Mb symmetrical wired internet line and power. Availability is extremely limited.
Equipped and staffed standups available from the EBU Office Rooftop on 44 Via della Conciliazione and from Piazza Pio XII, in front of and overlooking Piazza San Pietro and the Vatican. Please indicate in your booking which location you prefer.
For standups from the rooftop of our office at 44 Via della Concilliazione, please go to the first floor upon entering to the EBU office and your correspondent will be escorted to the stand-up position.
