Eurovision Services is providing a dedicated Audio over IP (AoIP) connectivity for broadcasters at the commentary positions and/or at the TV compound during the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 between 2 and 27 July 2025 in Switzerland.   

This dedicated AoIP connectivity is provided via Eurovision Services own secure internet access at the venue with a high quality of service and high resilience.  

This service is dedicated for AoIP transmissions and should not be used for web surfing, emails or FTP transfers.  

The onward connection is provided over the Eurovision Services FiNE fibre optic network, which offers very low latency over a totally transparent network, providing secure and stable bandwidth to facilitate AoIP connections.  

The local network infrastructure at the venue, including routers and firewalls, is also redundant up to the commentary position area. One Ethernet cable with an RJ-45 connector (plus passive back-up) will be provided in the requested location for codec connectivity. 

1. What Eurovision Services will provide:

• Secure internet access dedicated to AoIP transmissions.
• 2Mbps symmetrical provided over an RJ45 Ethernet socket.
• The local network is set with DHCP. No static public IP address will be available.
• 1 IP address available per AoIP access.
• No firewall restrictions, no SIP ALG functions.
• On-site support technician.
• Service available from MD-1 (for connectivity test) to MD (FW+2 hours)

Eurovision Services provides the data connection from the UEFA venue to the public internet via the Eurovision Services Point of Presence (POP). The public internet connection to the broadcaster headquarters is not provided by Eurovision Services.

Important note: Eurovision Services cannot take responsibility in the unlikely event of any issue with the public internet.

The price per match for AoIP access (2 Mbps symme AoIP #1MT

trical) is as follows:

3. Booking

The booking will be open from date of UEFA broadcaster workshop for all matches.

The deadline for AoIP service bookings is 15.06.2025 for the Group Stage.

Temporary service requests received after this deadline will be considered as late bookings and evaluated accordingly. UEFA Broadcast Partners will be notified of the result of the evaluation and if the late booking is accepted, there will be an extra charge of 300 euros.

4. Cancellation Conditions

The following conditions will apply for the cancellation of the AoIP connectivity service:

• For Group Stages: 

• Cancellation before 30.06.2025 – 1200 GMT: Free of charge 
• Cancellation after 30.06.2025 – 1200 GMT: 100% cancellation fees 

• For Quarter Finals: 

• Cancellation before 15.07.2025 – 1200 GMT: Free of charge 

• Cancellation after 15.07.2025 – 1200 GMT: 100% cancellation fees 

• For Semi-Finals: 

• Cancellation before 21.07.2025 – 1200 GMT: Free of charge 

• Cancellation after 21.07.2025 – 1200 GMT: 100% cancellation fees 

• For the Final: 

• Cancellation before 26.07.2025 – 1200 GMT: Free of charge 

• Cancellation after 26.07.2025 – 1200 GMT: 100% cancellation fees 

5. Support

Eurovision Services staff will be present on-site to assist UEFA Broadcast Partners with their AoIP connectivity.
