An informal meeting of EU heads of state or government and a EU-India Leaders’ hybrid meeting (by video conference) will take place on 8 May, both at Palácio de Cristal. Please find the Media Guide attached in the documents section.
Within the scope of The Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union, on 8 May, the Informal Meeting of Heads of State and Government of the EU and the EU-India Leaders’ Hybrid Meeting will take place in Palácio de Cristal, in Porto.
RTP, as Host Broadcaster, guarantees access to the International Signal at the location, situated in the Broadcast Centre at the Jardins do Palácio de Cristal. Distribution of the signal will also be guaranteed via the EBU satellite network as well as via the EBU digital platform (Newsdirect).

The Portuguese EU Presidency Host Broadcaster RTP will be providing access to the international signal as well as all production facilities (workspaces and standup positions) on site, free of charge,.
Eurovision News Events will distribute the access-all, free of charge, live programme of the event on the EBU satellite network and EBU’s digital platform (Newsdirect).

ON SITE FACILITIES: The main IBC for all events on 7-8 May will be located at Palacio Cristal/ Pavilhão Rosa Mota, offering workspaces and stand up facilities. These will be available from 6 May. Pool signals from the Social Summit at Alfândega will also be available here. The workspaces will be free of charge and will be assigned on a first come first served basis.
RTP will also be providing free of charge stand up positions (partially or fully equipped) except the circuits for the unilateral transmissions that will be booked on the Eurovision network.
There will also be limited space for Sat van parking incl. electrical power. A booking form is available in the Documents section.
