EU heads of state or government will meet in Porto on 7 May for the EU Social Summit at the Alfândega do Porto. An informal meeting of EU heads of state or government and a EU-India Leaders’ hybrid meeting (by video conference) will also take place on 8 May, both at Palácio de Cristal. Within the scope of The Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union, on May 7 the Social Summit will take place at the Alfândega Building in Porto. In advance of the summit, a ceremony will be held at Porto City Council to present the keys to the city to the President of the European Parliament, the President of the European Council and the President of the European Commission.
RTP, as Host Broadcaster, guarantees access to the International Signal at the location, situated in the TV Compound at the Alfândega Building. Distribution of the signal will also be guaranteed via the EBU satellite network as well as via the EBU digital platform (Newsdirect).

ON SITE FACILITIES: RTP will provide free of charge standup positions (partially or fully equipped) except the circuits for the unilateral transmissions that will be booked on the Eurovision network. Those will be available at both Alfandega do Porto and Palacio Cristal/ Pavilhão Rosa Mota (HoS summit venue). At the Palacio Cristal/Rosa Mota IBC pool signals from the Social Summit will be available at the workspaces.

To access the Alfandega standup positions, from the main entrance hall, go right through the large press room, continue through the next hall and out the doors at the end of the building. Head left, towards the river, and you should see the stand-up locations on your right.
