World leaders will gather for the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos from 22 to 25 January 2019. The theme of this edition will be "Globalisation 4.0" as the organisation vies to send a more inclusive message in the wake of an increasingly fragmented political landscape worldwide.
Heads of over a hundred governments, representatives from the private and public sector, academia, economy, finance, business and civil society and think tanks from across the world will gather in Davos for the World Economic Forum's Annual Meeting from 22-25 January 2019. This edition will focus on shaping a new architecture for the next wave of globalization. In the age of the 4th Industrial revolution or "Globalization 4.0", leaders shall learn from past mistakes and build more inclusive societies as well as better protect vulnerable communities.
About 3'000 delegates from over a 100 countries and all parts of society are expected to participate in more than 400 working sessions at the Forum's Annual meeting in the Swiss Alpine resort of Davos-Klosters.
