Pope Francis visits Geneva

Pope Francis is due to visit Geneva, Switzerland on 21 June 2018.

While in Geneva, Pope Francis will attend a meeting of the World Council of Churches (WCC), which has some 350 member churches and represents around 500 million Christians globally. The Roman Catholic Church is not a member of the WCC but it does send observers to WCC meetings. The Pope will also hold a mass at the Palexpo convention centre, which is scheduled to begin at 1530 GMT. During his visit, Pope Francis is also expected to meet with members of the Swiss government.

The Palexpo press center opens at 09:00 CET to the media.

  • Workspaces with or without technical access to the pool signal (workspace= table with 2 chairs) Need to be booked. 
  • Bookable VIP TV Studio for live transmissions with connectivity to the Eurovision Global Network


EUROVISION Special Events will offer the following facilities at Palexpo as per below ratecard: 
  • HD/SD Standup position for Live programme inserts
  • Playout
