NATO Summit

11-12 July 2018

A meeting of NATO Heads of State and Government will be held on Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12 July 2018 in Brussels, Belgium.

The meeting will be chaired by the NATO Secretary General and will include a short opening ceremony. The Meeting will take place at the new NATO Headquarters on Boulevard Leopold III, 1110 Brussels.

An international media centre will open on site on 10 July 2018 at 09h00 and remain open around the clock until 13 July 2018 at 09h00 local time.

Operation:

EUROVISION Special Events will offer the following facilities onsite:

Facilities:

  • HD/SD Standup position for Live programme inserts
  • HD/SD Playout
  • Non-equipped workspaces with HD/SD Host Broadcaster signal
  • HD/SD Connectivity to the Eurovision Global Network
  • HD/SD FLEX Hybrid IP Connectivity to the Eurovision Global Network

NOTE REGARDING THE TV AND RADIO BOOTHS:

The Media Centre will include 45 editing booths for television and 15 for radio crews.  Each booth is equipped for 3 people with wired internet, wifi, telephone line, Primary Feed (BNC termination) switched permanently to the programme signal, and an ISDN line (for radio booths). The format of the programme signal will be as origin, HD1080/50i with embedded audio & translation channels. In the Radio booths the signal will be made available as analog audio. This is provided at no cost by NATO.

TV and Radio Broadcasters who require switchable access to all the HB signals made available secondary/simultaneous Live Feeds, Cutaways, National Briefings, Replays) and / or who require a down-converted SD/SDI version of all host signals available need to book a matrix router panel from Eurovision on a first come first served basis. The rate of 1000 EUR applies per panel/router.

Please clearly state in your booking if you wish to receive ONLY the Primary Live feed in HD (at no cost) or if you would like to have switchable access to all the HB signals made available and /or an SD/SDI version of these signals with a panel/router provided by Eurovision at the rate of 1000 EUR.
 

All cabins with a Eurovision router panel will be equipped with a monitor and CCTV system in order to view all the Host signals available as well as the Eurovision Quad Split. 

The cabins without a router panel will only have an  SDI cable with the Main Feed locked on FEED 1. There will be no monitor nor CCTV system installed.

The CCTV system & monitor can be booked as an additional service, upon request and upon availability, at the rate of 250 EUR.
