Chinese President Xi Jinping will be the guest speaker at the opening sessions of this year's Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
Responsive Leadership is the theme of 2017's Annual Meeting - a call for leaders to renew systems that have supported international cooperation in the past.
At least 2500 delegates from 100 countries will participate in scores of sessions at the Annual meeting held in the Swiss Alpine resort of Davos-Klosters, from 17-20 January 2017.

Eurovision Special Events is establishing broadcast, production and transmission facilities for Television & Radio broadcasters, as well as web-based facilities to assist broadcasters and provide corporate media solutions for governments, companies, NGOs and other interested parties, from the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
Eurovision Special Events will operate 2 transmission centres in Davos:
- WEF Media Village & Congress Centre (Television, Video media & Radio): inside the Secure Zone (Accreditation Required)
- Waldhotel Bellevue, Buolstrasse 3, Davos-Platz (short walk from Congress Centre) -Television, Video media Only: Outside Secure Zone, Accreditation NOT Required)
Eurovision Flex Service and IP solution over the Eurovision Global Network is being offered as follows:
• Eurovision mobile units for live transmission over 4G network, Wifi/LAN and Eurovision Secured Network.
• One way or bi-directional transmissions.
• Delivery of the Signal to your FLEX I/O, Satellite or Fiber Network.
• High video quality up to 15 Mbps.
• SDI input and output for easy integration to your workflow.
• Operational Support.
• Turn around to and from the Eurovision Global network.

ENG Filming spaces
The World Economic Forum provides spaces for ENG type interviews. These spaces are booked by each requesting broadcaster/organisation directly on the WEF web-site (link provided below). WEF operates a first come first served policy for this facility.
The spaces are furnished with WEF branding, seating for 4 people and normal lighting only.
Broadcast equipment including lighting is provided directly by each broadcaster.
TV Studio 4 only, on the WEF list has connectivity to the Eurovision MCR for possible live inject from this location.
