The race for the Golden Lion will feature five Hollywood productions, four from Italy and three each from France and Japan. All but two of the 21 titles will be world premieres. Among them is  "Rachel Getting Married," starring Anne Hathaway and Debra Winger,  "The Burning Plain" a family drama with Kim Basinger and Charlize Theron and the Iraq war drama "The Hurt Locker" with Ralph Fiennes.

Eurovision Special Events, in association with RAI will provide full broadcast facilities to services covering the 65th Venice Film Festival, one of the oldest and most prestigious events in Europe. We can offer standard and customised services to channels and programme makers covering the festival.

Eurovision Venice will offer impressive views on the catwalk and the Lido.

The Eurovision Venice feedpoint will be located on the first floor of the Casino, next to the Palazzo del Cinema, and will provide daily access to the film festival coverage which will consist of boats and catwalk arrivals, photo-calls, presser and trailers. It will be operational from 26 August to 7 September included. A limited number of workspaces cabled with pool coverage are available on the first floor of the casino first-come, first-served.

Special rates for long duration transmissions and special production packages for the 2008 Venice Film Festival are available on demand. Rate card for High Definition production facilities and circuits is available upon request.
