Cannes Film Festival
The official jury of the 62nd Cannes Film Festival awarded the 2009 Palme d'Or to Michael Haneke's The White Ribbon.

Eurovision Special Events, provided broadcast facilities in Cannes. Eurovision Cannes offered impressive views on the Palais des Festivals catwalk, the Croisette and the Mediterranean Sea.

Facilities included:
   •  Tape playout (Beta D, SX, SP, DVCPRO and DVCAM)
   •  Standup positions (overlooking the catwalk)
   •  Wireless live standup from the location of choice
   •  Studio (multi-camera)
   •  Connectivity to the Eurovision Global Network
   •  ENG Crew
   •  Editing (Non Linear / Beta SP/SX)
   •  Access to Festival coverage (red carpet, photo calls, pressers, trailers) EBU Members ONLY

The Eurovision Cannes feedpoint was located in the building across from the Palais des Festivals, right in front of the red carpet steps at 3, La Croisette, 4th floor.

For Cannes 2010, special rates for long duration transmissions, High Definition production facilities and circuits or special production packages are available upon request .
