The 60th Berlin International Film Festival will be held from February 11 to 21, 2010 in Berlin, Germany.

The Berlinale is celebrating its 60th anniversary in February 2010 and will be taking the occasion to look back on an eventful history.

The February 2009 awards brought together 1,600 invited guests at the Berlinale Palast and millions of TV viewers. The evening culminated in the announcement of the main prize, the Golden Bear, which went to the film La Teta Asustada (the Milk of Sorrow) by Claudia Llosa.

As part of an agreement with the organizers of the 2009 Berlin Film Festival and the host ZDF, Eurovision was pleased to offer the opening and closing ceremonies of the Berlinale on the Eurovision network, free of network costs.

Restrictions: Please note the following restrictions apply for excerpt use of the Berlinale 2009 Opening and Awards ceremonies:

1. Live broadcast of a ceremony is free of copyright charges for EBU members within the intended broadcasting area, except Germany, Austria and German-speaking Switzerland.
2. The ceremonies may be used for non live broadcasts in the intended broadcasting area free of copyright charges until 30 April 2009 as follows:
a.) No time restrictions for news access for EBU members. Maximum 180 seconds per news bulletin news access for non-members.
b.) Maximum 10 minutes per programme dedicated exclusively to the 2009 Berlinale for EBU-members and non-members.
3. Non EBU Members wanting to broadcast a ceremony live have to acquire the rights from ZDF/3sat. Please contact the ZDF Enterprises GmbH, Mr. Thomas Sewing sewing.t@zdf.de
4. After 30 April 2009 . all rights have to be cleared with ZDF Enterprises GmbH, Mr. Thomas Sewing directly, sewing.t@zdf.de
5. The use of the Berlinale Trailer has to be registered:
