This Iconic East London Car Park is about to be transformed by one of the most unique collections of contemporary art ever put together.

Interview Dr Thomas Girst, Head of Cultural Affairs BMW Group
Art drive is sixteen BMWs and sixteen great international artists who have all painted those cars. You?ve got Jeff Koons, you?ve got Andy Warhol, from the greatest pop artists to the most important contemporary artists they have all tackled the challenge of painting those cars and came up with great results and you can see them all here in London.

The collection dates back to 1975 and will be in London from July 21st until August the 4th. It?s been delivered from Munich as a partnership by BMW and the Institute of Contemporary Art. Installing these priceless works of Art into a multi storey East End Car Park has required a high level of expertise.

Interview Dr Thomas Girst, Head of Cultural Affairs BMW Group
You get people working hard, people working 24⁄7, people who haven't slept to make this exhibition possible.

Interview Thomas
I think come and see the cars. If you like art you'll enjoy it, if you like cars you?ll enjoy it, if you like architecture you'll enjoy it and if you?re very interested in what young design groups are doing right now you?ll enjoy it. On many levels, forgive the pun given we?re in a multistory car park, I think you could enjoy it.

Here's a unique view of a London Olympic Venue.

You can now climb across the North Greenwich Arena, which is where the basketball and gymnastics will be taking place.

The "Up at the O2" climb is a new and thrilling way to see London and some of the Olympic venues from another angle.

And once on top of the arena you can have your picture taken to capture forever the breathtaking views across East London.

The adventure takes 90 minutes and takes you 53 meters above ground level, after 15 minutes at the summit, the mountaineering tourists make their way back down to base camp.

SOT : Really good views actually. Lots of the Olympic venues over there. So, I think like to climb it again during the Olympics.

It's for sure a walk you won't forget.

SOT: It was a lot more challenging than I thought it would be on the climb, but I think the climb is the best bit. I would go for the climb alone. It was amazing.

Just another exciting thing to do during the Olympic summer.
