In a final that included only three paddlers ranked in the world's top 10, Dukatova delivered her run with the graceful precision that has become her trademark. Three weeks after they were tipped to medal at the Olympic Games, Etienne Daille (FRA) and Benjamin Savsek (SLO) won gold at the Prague World Cup. Caroline Loir (FRA) took the gold medal in the Women's C1 final winning her 3rd World Cup of the season. The Cardiff World Cup is the only one that she has not medalled and this is because she didn't compete in it. In the C2 final, France's Labarelle and peschier prevailed. The Prague World Cup which was held from 24-26 August (Friday-Sunday) is the fourth of five International Canoe Federation (ICF) Canoe Slalom World Cup Series held across Europe this season. 300 paddlers from 30 countries went through an artificial course positioned on the lower end of river Vltava where the Prague Canoeing Center is located.
