Eurovision leverages its strong and successful partnerships with international sports federations
to provide maximum benefits for broadcasters and federations alike.
The ability to establish a direct relationship with Member broadcasters and the opportunity to reach
the widest possible audience in all Eurovision territories with one single agreement are among the
key reasons that 30 Federations maintain their long-standing relationships with the EBU.
These strong partnerships ensure that EBU Members and other broadcast partners are uniquely positioned
to offer their audiences a wide variety of sports programming, ranging from football, skiing, tennis
and cycling to swimming, athletics, figure skating
and more.
Eurovision's Sports Rights Acquisitions include European and world events such as the Summer and
Winter Olympic Games, the Football World Cup, the World Championships in Athletics, the Tour de
France, Roland Garros, the Australian Tennis Open and many other major sports competitions.
